Statement of Policies Regarding Continuing Education Classes.

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING FOR ANY OF OUR CE COURSES:

THE HAWAII REAL ESTATE COMMISSION WILL NOT ALLOW THE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDER TO ISSUE A COURSE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE FOR A COURSE THE LICENSEE HAS TAKEN PREVIOUSLY (BACK TO 1995). SO BE SURE NOT TO REGISTER FOR A COURSE THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN PREVIOUSLY WITH SEILER SCHOOL OF REAL ESTATE OR ANY OTHER HAWAII CE PROVIDER.  Please review the instructions below to ascertain which courses you have completed previously.

IF YOU COMPLETED CE COURSES IN THE LAST or CURRENT BIENNIUM:

The Hawaii Online CE system will show the list of courses, only if the student completed courses in the last or current biennium. Licensees may view what CE courses they have completed through the "Real Estate Online Continuing Education" system at www.pvl.ehawaii.gov/rece.  They would need to enter their license number and last four digits of their SSN.  If they need to see all their CE course records have them click on "more" on the bottom of the list.  The licensee may also order reprints of completion certificate free of charge from this website.

IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED CE COURSES IN THE LAST or CURRENT biennium:

If you took a course previously through RECampus, you may view what CE courses you have completed at https://www.recampus.com/REcampus/login_request.aspx   all you have to do is type in your email address on the website and you will get your old login information.  You will then be able to see all courses that you have completed with RECampus regardless of which school you took it through.

If all else fails, please contact Hawaii Real Estate Branch at 808-586-2643 to determine what CE courses you have completed.

TO INSURE THAT YOU RECEIVE A COURSE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE, PLEASE BE SURE TO SPEND THE APPROPRIATE TIME COMPLETING THE ONLINE COURSES. (see below).

SORRY NO REFUNDS ONCE YOU REGISTER:

We issue certificates at the end of each week; normally, early Friday morning.  Before we do, we go online and check the progress of each student so that we can feel comfortable that the Real Estate Commission requirements have been met.  If you have met the course time requirements, a Course Completion Certificate will be mailed to you; at the same time we will notify the Real Estate Commission of your completion.

Elective Courses have been certified for 3 hours of continuing education credit.  Before I issue a certificate of completion,  I will check online to verify that you have actually spent a minimum (3 hours) excluding testing time, completing each course.

Mandatory Core Courses Hawaii Real Estate Commission has changed the requirements for what previously was one 4-hour Core Course to Two Core Courses of 2 Hours each.  I must be able to verify that you have actually spent a minimum (2 hours) excluding testing time, completing each course.

We Issue Certificate of Completions of a Continuing Education Course weekly, normally early on Friday morning.  We will issue your certificate and email it to you so that you can print it out yourself.   We will also notify the Real Estate Commission of your completion.  Keep the Certificates in a safe place. We will replace lost certificates for $20.00 each. We will keep records of attendance for four years from the course completion date and will not be responsible for keeping records or replacing certificates beyond that time.

Submission of Certificate of Completion to the Hawaii Real Estate Commission is NOT required upon license renewal if your license is on ACTIVE status.  Simply keep the certificates in your file in case they are requested.

The instructor reserves the right to dismiss any student who is cheating or does not fulfill the time requirement of each course as certified by the Real Estate Commission.
